Youth & Family Services
Building the community’s social and economic infrastructure by helping families become self-reliant, healthy and successful.
The purpose of the Family Services department is to continue to build the community’s social and economic infrastructure by helping families become self-reliant, healthy and successful. Our program serves as the hub for social service support in the Cities of Opa-locka, Miami Gardens, and North Miami, (We services all of Miami-Dade County with a focus of North Miami-Dade County.) where we work in collaboration with a group of social service agencies comprised of over 40 service providers.
All Youth & Family services are available in English, Spanish and Creole.
Education Programs
We are committed to empowering students and young adults through education, equipping them for success in college and the workplace. Our programs integrate academic learning with social and life skills training, addressing the underlying challenges that might hinder participants from reaching their full potential. We achieve this by incorporating arts enrichment and hands-on experiences, fostering creativity and practical skills alongside traditional education.
Health & Care Coordination Programs
This program serves as a central hub, connecting families to essential resources and services that support their overall well-being. Through a holistic approach, we provide access to programs that address physical and mental health, promote wellness, and foster community engagement, ensuring families have the tools they need to thrive.
