Ten North Group is proud to announce that we have secured a South Arts grant to bring nationally and internationally recognized photographer Vanessa Charlot home to Miami.
Born and raised in Miami-Dade, Vanessa Charlot is a Black female photographer and professor at Ole Miss. Through a partnership with Florida International University, she will lead a three-day photography residency serving 40 students from Opa-locka.
Beginning today, students will engage with Vanessa alongside acclaimed photographers Carl Juste and Woosler Delisfort across sessions at FIU Biscayne Bay Campus and the Ten North Group campus in historic downtown Opa-locka.
This is about access creativity and investing in the next generation.
